The Acoustic Ballroom was started in Wallingford in November 2005. Anyone is welcome to come and perform or watch. It’s free to play, or £3.00 to be in the audience.

After a great year and a bit in the Centre 70 we moved to the Portcullis club in March 2007.
Any style of music or performance is welcome. The only rule is that all instruments must be played unplugged (drum kits welcome). There is no need to book before the night. Turn up and you will get a short slot to perform in - usually 2 songs (or tunes, poems or whatever…). Two slots are always reserved for new performers.

Doors at 8pm. Music at 8.30pm. There’s a break in the middle and it finishes at about 11pm.
